I have been a Realtor, licensed in both Iowa and Illinois since 2008. I have 16 years of experience in large and small portfolio property management. While I don't consier myself a property manager anymore, I do manage my own rentals. Currently I have 10 units.
When I'm not involved in real estate... what I mean is on top of real estate. :-) ... I enjoy spending time with my family. I am truly blessed to have such a tight knit family.
In the spring, gardening is my thing! I really enjoy planning the timing of when plants bloom and coordinating the colors. After winter, I really can't get enough of being outside, but have a need to be doing something. Gardening is PERFECT!
In the summer I usually pick an outdoor project to work on. I am pretty handy, but am always eager to learn more. I'm not afraid of most projects, but have taken on some, I would not likely do again! The way I look at a lot of those projects, is when, or if I hire those projects to be done, I will know what to look out for or to change.
In the fall and winter, I bowl on a John Deere bowling league; I started bowling there with my Dad quite a few years ago. While I can't say I'm a good bowler, I can say I've gotten slightly better since I started. In the winters, I also an indoor project. I really like to stay busy.
Between family life, real estate and my own hobbies... boredom has never been a problem!
Since being in real estate sales, I've had the pleasure of working with many different buyers and sellers and have sold various types of property. In this business, you meet many different people; I consider myself extremely lucky to have worked with many clients I now consider friends! It's very rewarding to be a part of what, for many people, is a significant life event. I consider it a big responsibility and privilege.
Working with my buyer clients, I find properties best fitting their desired criteria. I provide a full analysis of current and recent historical data, as well as general market information of all potential properties. Then, as a team, we discuss an offer, terms, strategy and offer limit.
I offer strategy and negotiating advice during the offer process, and again, should any issues come up through inspections or otherwise. I also prepare my buyers for potential Seller responses, in order to be thinking a couple steps ahead, in different senerios. I guide my clients through the entire purchasing process, and make them feel at ease.

We'll discuss motivations, expectations, goals, marketability, preparations and timelines.Taking into consideration, our conversation, I'll prepare a full market analysis and come up with a suggested listing price. I provide the information, you make the decisions best suited for your situation.
Throughout my career, I've staged many residential homes and had marked success. Many times its been a matter of utilizing a clients' existing possessions/furniture in combination with a plethora of staging items I own. This service is available to my clients at no extra charge.
